A 1:1 Yoga Session Designed Specifically for You
We will start with a consultation and design a yoga session together that meets your specific needs. Sessions may include restorative yoga, rhythmic movements to support pelvic organs, pelvic floor ‘geography’ and awareness, exercises to improve posture and stability, breathing and relaxation techniques, self-care and home practice.
Carefully chosen yoga sequences that honour each stage of the menstrual cycle and promote womb-friendly feelings. Yoga and most especially relaxation can also be helpful in supporting you through IVF.
I can support you during your pregnancy with exercises that fit with your changing body and energy level. Many women experience physical discomforts during pregnancy including pelvic pain, constipation, swollen joints and carpal tunnel syndrome, all of which can be managed to some extent with carefully chosen yoga practices. As your due date approaches, I can support you in creating beautiful birth intentions and provide guided relaxations and visualisations tailored to you and your partner.
Postnatal Recovery Yoga
Many common postnatal challenges are easy to manage and recover from after just one or two private sessions that help you feel clearly what to work on – (e.g. diastasis recti, pelvic pain, incontinence, sciatic pain or prolapse). Babies are always welcome and home practices are given which are realistic and easy to manage alongside babies and children.
